OAKLAND, CA September 23, 2014 – Four of the startup company finalists selected to pitch at the 2014 Bay Area Capital Connections (BACC) Conference: Funding Impact Entrepreneurs are set to launch their crowdfunding campaigns through Indiegogo on October 9, 2014. With support from the partnership between The Alliance for Community Development of the San Francisco Bay Area (ACDSFBA) and DRÆM VENTURES, each company will run its own campaign, but will also be featured together on a shared Indeigogo Partner Page. The Indiegogo Partner Page will enable The Alliance for Community Development to promote and track the progress of all the campaigns, and will reduce the fees for the participating companies.
The four startups launching their crowdfunding campaigns on October 9 are:
- Favalife, Hattem Nigma, CEO: A natural foods company manufacturing artisanal fava bean hummus and spreads.
- International Breast Milk Bank, Glenn Snow, CEO: A human milk bank increasing the supply of human breast milk to hospitals.

- Scrumpt, Bri James, CEO: Kid friendly food, delivered.
Alisa Cordesius, Cause Manager from Indiegogo, is working directly with all of the companies to launch the crowd funding campaigns. Cordesius is an expert on crowdfunding and she really knows what it takes to run a successful campaign.
